"Never depend on enemy not attacking you", but be prepared for the worst scenario happens and you really get attacked. This is one line that I've read many times, and I thought I understood it.
Because I did not practise this saying, now I'm in deep s***, caught totally off-guard and ill-prepared. This does not apply to just enemies, but also allies. Sigh. Never had the heart to take measures against allies. Now I've learnt my lesson. May seem cold and ruthless, but have to defend against allies as well, as you'll never know when they'll turn against you.
Allies are NOT friends.
